Bid Package 5A – Structural & Misc. Steel Package
The successful Subcontractor acknowledges and agrees to the requirements set forth by this bid package and its descriptions and in conjunction with all other Construction Documents, as required to provide, furnish, install, and/or maintain all items necessary for a complete scope of work as listed below. The scope of work shall be inclusive of, but not limited to the following specifications, information, and requirements:

c) Division 1 SECTION 3 CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION
d) Division 5 SECTION 051200 STRUCTURAL STEEL FRAMING
e) Division 5 SECTION 052100 STEEL JOIST FRAMING
f) Division 5 SECTION 053100 STEEL DECKING
g) Division 5 SECTION 055000 METAL FABRICATIONS
h) Division 5 SECTION 055113 METAL PAN STAIRS
i) Division 5 SECTION 055213 PIPE AND TUBE RAILINGS
The successful Subcontractor is responsible for all specification Divisions and Sections included within the Construction Documents as required to provide a complete scope of work for this project. The individual Divisions and Sections listed above are provided as a courtesy only.
II) Scope Specific Items:
1) Structural steel, tube steel, steel joists, joist girders and bridging.
2) Metal decking for floor and roof.
3) Slab edge and roof opening closures and framing as required.
4) Shop drawings as required to enable all parties to meet the project schedule.
5) Engineers Certification of Connections as required.
6) Monumental stair, steel stairs, landings and railings. Including Wire Mesh Panels.
7) Connections, fasteners, embedded items required for the installation of the work in this package. Furnish embedded items to concrete or precast concrete contractor for installation. Provide templates and layout drawings for coordination. Deliver to the project
8) Shear studs/connectors.
9) Furnish anchor bolt templates to concrete contractor.
10) Shop primers/paint/coatings.
11) Grouting of base plates.
12) Miscellaneous steel and metal items shown on the structural, architectural and civil drawings. Miscellaneous metal items shall be inclusive of, but not be limited to:
a) Elevator sill angles and beams.
b) Operable partition supports.
c) Steel for lateral bracing, and on top of masonry walls (furnish only).
d) Stair nosings.
e) Embedded angles, plates, channels, etc. (furnish only).
f) Alternate tread roof access stair.
g) Metal Canopies.
13) Perimeter and opening barricades as required by the authority having jurisdiction for safety. Maintain barricades throughout the duration of this Bid Package and/or as directed.
14) All required safety provisions.
15) Temporary stair handrails and barricades as required.
16) Electrical distribution and consumption in excess of the temporary electric provided for the project as required for welders, hoists, etc.
17) All hoisting, for this scope of work, shall be the responsibility of this Bid Package.
18) Submit proposed work schedule to fit within overall preliminary project schedule.
