The Visual and Performing Arts Talent Grant in Art carries the following responsibilities and expectations.
•Maintain a minimum overall cumulative 2.0 GPA.
•Maintain a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA in university core requirements.
•Make reasonable progress towards degree completion including at least six hours of university core requirement classes each semester until the core is completed.
•Successfully complete a minimum of twelve (12) hours each semester.
•Membership in the Delta Alpha Chapter of Kappa Pi International Honorary Art Fraternity. Students who do not yet meet admission requirements may become associate members.
•Submission of artwork to the Annual ULM Juried Student Art Exhibition.
•Some attendance at Gallery openings and events sponsored by the Art Program.
•Additional duties may encompass art-related and studio support service activity.
The responsibilities and expectations listed above will also be considered for
Talent Grant continuation and renewal.
Please list your participation in art activities for the last year such as involvement in art club events, applications to juried art exhibits, attendance at museum or gallery openings, or other art-related or studio support service activity.
NOTE: ALL UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS ARE CONTINGENT
ON THE AVAILABILITY OF STATE AND UNIVERSITY FUNDS.
