AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT THE BOND OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF EDUCATION FOR OCONEE COUNTY AND THE OCONEE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENT OF EDUCATION SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS RATHER THAN TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
School officials bond increased
SECTION1.Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the bond of the Superintendent of Education for Oconee County and the Oconee County School District Superintendent of Education shall be a minimum of two hundred fifty thousand dollars rather than ten thousand dollars. The bond shall be obtained and approved in the manner provided by law.
Time effective
SECTION2.This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
