The Primary Objective of theExhibit/Expois to educate the community, honor forgotten historians and heroes, preserve the history and legacy of those who fought American Wars and gave their lives for the growth, development and freedom of future American generations.The Buffalo Soldiers,TuskegeeAirman, and the Colored Volunteer Infantry Regiment of the Civil War and the African-American crew of the USS Mason during World War II, all contributed toward the development and defense of the United States of America. It’s our hope that the Buffalo Soldiers Exhibit-Expo will serve to inspire and motivate young minds to keep the legends and the legacy of these great historians alive and cause all Americans to become more connected with our rich heritage.
This is a time of going forward in America and our youth are require to have a deeper understanding and stronger appreciation for the caliber of black men and women that Fought, Bled and Died for the true freedoms that all Americans share today. It is our belief that understanding ones history will cause success or lack of success in ones journey through life. This project is dedicated to the life and spirit of the African American Soldiers and the retention of this important part of history for future generations who have the fortitude and inspiration to continue to make America stronger by studying history and the wonderful contributions of all who served beautiful America.
The Buffalo Soldiers wasactivated in services 1866 and disbanded in 1944, as their mottos stated.“WE CAN: WE WILL”and“READY and FORWARD”.
The USS Mason was activated in services 1942 and disbanded in 1947, their mottos stated. “PROUDLY WE SERVED”. The Tuskegee Airman was activated in services 1941 and disbanded in 1947, their mottos stated. “STRAIGHTEN UP AND FLY RIGHT”.
We are all soldiersliving on the legacy of these and other great historians who fought for America’sFreedoms that are enjoyed today.
We must not forget the heroes of our past that helped tame the western frontier. We the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Clubs ride with pride and respect with their name on our backs and their history in our hearts.
