6NEW CORRESPONDENCE for discussion:
5888 / 14/03/11 / Mrs O. Goodrich / Resigning as parish councillor5894 / 14/03/11 / Mrs D. Edwards / Confirming she has reported bollard damaged bollard on High Street to Clarence. (Now removed, but not replaced)
5909 / 14/03/11 / Mrs M Brandler / Telephone call. Traffic around the Square at school drop-off and pick up times is difficult and driving standards both there and on Froxfield road from drivers taking children to Ramsbury school are poor. Driving is inconsiderate to other road users, too fast and dangerous, with the use of mobile phones while driving being common. Requests that PC brings to attention of school that everyone in the village has a duty of care.
5898 / 14/03/11 / PCSO Mills / Spate of non-dwelling burglaries in area – advice. Forwarded to all Councillors
5912 / 14/03/11 / G. Fearon / Pavement on Scholard’s Lane between The Bell and Tankard Lane is muddy and there’s a lot of dog-mess there. The mud is mostly cased by erosion from the bank in front of the Hop House
5920 / 14/03/11 / Sarsen Housing / In response to PC’s request, the contractor at the Axford car park development site has been asked to move the fence back by approx 1 metre so that the grass verge can be used as a footpath.
5929 / 14/03/11 / Mr B. Tottenham / Christine Young is now acting chairman of Ramsbury Amenity group
5933 / 14/03/11 / Mr G. Treherne / Re Axford Housing development. Houses should not be built where there are no facilities to support them. Minutes of January meeting gave a false impression of the discussion of the Axford car park discussion.
