Welcome to our Celebration Today

The Sung Mass begins at The Vicarage for the Blessing of Palms before we process to the Church. The Gospel reading will be the Passion Gospel according to StMark read dramatically by members of the congregation. Afterthe Passion Gospel, the Sung Mass continues asusual. TheWalsingham room is available as a crèche room for young people who need a break during the service. TheSidespersons have bags of toys for younger visitors to use during the service. At the end of Mass please stay and join us for coffee and refreshments. Thered booklets have the Order of Service and the hymns in them, the purple booklets contain the Passion Gospel.

Vespers for Palm Sunday

Takes place at 5pm this evening, with a homily around Palm Sunday themes.

Easter Lilies

As is our custom, we will be decorating the Church with lilies for Easter in memory of loved ones. If you would like to purchase a lily, please complete your form this morning and return to Fr Mark.

Chrism Mass

Takes place tomorrow at Chelmsford Cathedral. All are welcome to join in with this special service!

Easter Triduum

Begins on Maundy Thursday and is the commemoration and celebration that is at the heart of our faith. Please try and come to the main services over these three days. If you have volunteered to help, copies of the Orders ofService and instructions are on the table at the back of Church.

Messy Church

Takes place this coming Friday. Please spread the word to encourage as many people as possible to come along, and also please remember the helpers, the leaders and the event in your prayers this week.

Church Cleaning

Takes place next Saturday, as we prepare the Church ready for the great Easter Celebration!

Lent Appeal

Over the Lenten season, we have been collecting money for the Diocesan Lent Appeal to purchase a water bowser for our link Diocese in Kenya. If you have been filling a bottle with small change, please bring the bottle next Sunday. In addition, there will be a plate available for any additional donations that you would like to make.

Annual Parochial Church Meeting

Takes place on Sunday 22nd April. In preparation for this meeting, the Electoral Roll will be revised from 1stApril 2018. To make changes to your entry on theRoll, or to be added to the Roll, please speak to Linda Cleverley, the Electoral Roll Officer.
