P1547.2 Target Schedule:

June 6-7: complete gap analysis of Draft 4 and approach/assignments for Draft 5.

July 10: receive inputs for Draft 5

July 24: post P1547.2 Draft 5

August 1-4, 2006 P1547.x series of meetings (P1547.2 on Aug 3-4).

Oct. – Nov complete pre-ballot Draft 6 for P1547.2 work group consideration

Please review this draft in preparation for the next meeting of the IEEE P1547.2 Work Group. At this point in the development process we are not looking for wordsmithing, but rather technical corrections, gap filling, suggestions/rewrites to condense lengthy sections, etc. Draft 4 is a compilation of all comments received, without editing or harmonization.

If you would like to submit comments prior to the meeting (or if you cannot attend the meeting), please submit your comments and suggestions on the IEEE P1547 comments feedback formto: and The Draft 4 incorporates comments generated during the Work Group meeting held on February 2-3, 2006 in Atlanta, Georgia and comments submitted after the meeting. Both a “track changes” version and “changes accepted” version have been posted.
