CNYSSC, INC. – Rules & Eligibility

RULES

  • Any club member that owns, co-owns, or breeds a Shetland Sheepdog that receives an American or Canadian title as recognized by AKC or CKC, shall be presented with a wooden plaque.
  • Each plaque contains our Club logo and a plate with the members kennel name or family name (if no kennel name exists).
  • Only one (1) plaque will be awarded to each kennel or household. (Additional plaques may be purchased at cost)
  • Each year the member will be presented with a bar which hangs from the plaque for each dog receiving any title(s) and special award in that year.

ELIGIBILITY

  • For purposes of the Annual Awards ONLY - the club year will be December 1 through November 30. Plaques/bars will be presented at the Holiday party
  • To be eligible for any Club award, a member must attend a minimum of 3 regularly scheduled meetings and work in at least one Club event per year. If you haven’t met the requirements, you will need to pay for each bar you won.

BARS

  • Awarded to BOTH breeder and owner (if both are club members)
  • Send a copy of the Title Certificate for verification of the spelling of the dogs name/titles. If no certificate and your handwriting is not legible, any typos on the engraved bar are not the responsibility of the club and can be replaced if you choose to pay for a corrected bar.
Additional & Separate Bars
  • The club will award an additional & separate bar to any dog with the listed AMERICAN wins ONLY (multiple wins in any ONE category will be totaled on a single bar if necesary)
