A HELPFUL GUIDE TO MAINTAINING EXECUTIVE AND ACHIEVING SILVER In 6!!
/THERE ARE SOME PERKS to EXECUTIVE!!
LETTER TO EXECUTIVES / AS compiled by the OIL CULTURE TEAMCongratulations on hitting Executive! This is a major milestone in your Young Living journey. For many people, this is where your passion for oils becomes more than just a hobby and has the very real potential of beginning to PAY more like a career. Not only will you get paid one level deeper in unilevel commissions, but you’ve got at least 2 legs of 1000PV which means you are starting to see duplicationand other business builders joining you on the journey. You also qualify for the special Silver in 6 promotion which is a pretty amazing offer! To qualify for Silver in 6, you need to do the following:
1)Maintain at least the rank of Executive in the months without dropping back to Senior Star.
2)Hit the rank of Silver by the end of the 6th month AFTER hitting Executive (ex: if you hit Executive in July, you have until the end of January to hit Silver)
3)To hit Silver, you will need:
a) OGV of at least 10,000 that includes
b)at least 2 legs of 4,000 and
c)have at least 1,000 in volume
outside of those 2 legs of 4,000
If you hit Silver before or by the end of the 6th month, not only will you see an increase in your cheque due to your increased volume leadership share but Young Living will give you an Aroma Complete kit (worth $1,995 wholesale containing over 120 oils!). After maintaining Silver for 3 months in a row, you will also qualify for the all expenses paid Silver retreat that happens annually.
1)Access to the Leadership team to deal with things such as:
- pushing through ER orders if dates are unavailable
- putting Premium kits through as Essential Rewards
- checking on shipping problems for team members
- switching a retail customer to wholesale
- moving a downline member within 5 days of signing up
- having a recent downline order switched to an ER, etc.
Please treat this leadership team with respect and try to use discretion when deciding what to email them. Please note that beyond 5 days, any sponsorship changes need to go to and that once orders are journalled in the system, they cannot be switched to ER orders.
2)After 3 consecutive months at Executive, you can request up to 5 development kits on credit that you can have on hand and process by emailing in. See our business group (Oil Culture Business Builders) for the ‘Application for Development kits’ and more info on the process.
Realistically, to hit Silver, you need to be actively planning your calendar and working hard to achieve the goal. Going from Executive to Silver is likely the hardest jump and requires work. Don’t make the mistake of assuming it’ll just happen without focus and hard work. Unfortunately, many people give up before hitting Executive and don’t get to reap the benefits when of all their hard work in the beginning finally starts paying off. (Remember the analogy in ‘The Four Year career’ of pushing a car uphill?)
Here are some action steps that you need to take to achieve the rank of Silver:
1)
Connect with your nearest upline Silver (or above) leader and set a goal/timeline for hitting Silver. They can help share their experience with you and help with a plan.
2)Sessions, sessions, sessions! Fill your calendarwith sessions focused especially on 2 legs to get them to the 4,000PV requirement.
3)Identify key leaders: encourage and work with them to get duplication happening. (Be willing to reach deep and find potential leaders within your downline. They may not necessarily be on your frontline)
4)Don’t forget those who may not be ‘business builders’ (yet!)- but help people to share with others and sign up their first few members (this often leads to business builders and also adds up when everyone signs up a couple).
5)Don’t take your foot off the gas pedal, plan on stepping up your game and really making some sacrificesto find the time to invest in your business (this is the make or break time- so seize the opportunity!!)
6)Be prepared to place an order if necessary to maintain Executive so that you don’t slip below and lose the opportunity altogether. But be strategic- if you need to place an order, spend the money on items to create samples or to run a promo to get people sharing and increasing your ER rates (this way it is a business write-off and will continue to build your volume in the following months).
7)Consider running a promo for free product of some kind to encourage members to sign up new members or get on ER
LETTER TO EXECUTIVES / AS compiled by the OIL CULTURE TEAMWe have found that having a plan B in month 5 or 6 has been agame changer for so many. Time and time again, once the builder decides to be prepared to spend some extra money if necessary to hit Silver, they usually don’t need to. It seems to take the pressure off and also allows them to focus on what needs to be done. We have seen members make up 2,500 PV in just 3 days to hit Silver. If you are in a positionto possibly need to spend some money to hit Silver, consider the following:
1)Your cheque will increase by an average of about $500 for hitting Silver (more if you have one or more Silver leaders in your downline).
2)The Aromacomplete kit is worth almost $2,000 to purchase AND it builds an incredible amount of excitement and momentumin your downline members and at sessions when they see YOUR kit and want one for THEMSELVES.
3)The money you spend on product can be used to reinvest in your team and future growth and is a business write-off!
