PUPIL PERSONNEL SERVICES CREDENTIAL

SCHOOL SOCIAL WORK and CHILD WELFARE AND ATTENDANCE

REQUIRED FIELD PLACEMENT ACTIVITIES

Applicants for the credential must have experience in working with at least two different school aged populations: elementary, middle and/or high school; with students of diversity (at least 10 students of a racial or ethnic background that is different from your own) which includes regular and special education students. A total of 450 hours is required for the School Social Work Credential with an additional 150 hours required as preparation for the Child Welfare and Attendance Credential.

School Social Work Required Activities
