Holy Week and Easter 2018
Holy Week is the climax of the Christian Year. We relive the Passion, Death and Resurrection of the Lord. It is our opportunity to make this great story our own. I invite you personally to take full part in our celebration of Holy Week. Join with us as a Parish in walking together with the Lord through his Passion and Death to the glory of his Resurrection.
PASSION (PALM) SUNDAY 25th March 2018
Blessing of Palms at all Masses:please assemble in the foyer of the Church, Saturday, 6.00pm; Sunday 8.30am, 11.00am and 6.00pm.
Today we cry “Hosanna” as we celebrate the Lord’s entry into Jerusalem.

CHRISM MASS:Today at 12 noon at the Cathedral, all priests of the Diocese join with the Cardinal for Mass and Blessing of the Oils. All are welcome.

No Mass today.
Today is a day of fasting and abstinence.

Collection for the Holy Places after Service at 3.00pm.

HOLY SATURDAY 31st March 2018

THE EASTER VIGIL AT 8.00pm
Tonight we celebrate the most important service of the Church’s year. We Passover with the Lord from death to life, from darkness to light. We recall the mighty deeds of God’s saving love for us. Tonight too we joyfully welcome and receive 4 new members into our community: We celebrate our first Mass of Easter.
After the Vigil our celebrations continue in the Hall when we will welcome the new Catholics and a glass of wine is available.

Masses at:8.30 am, 11.00 am and 6.00 pm
Please remember today your Easter Offering. This is your personal gift to the priest of the Parish. If you are going away over Easter perhaps you could drop it in during the week.
