Content Strand / A correlation to the standard identifies what state standard is being addressed b an instructional objective. A correlation is written by reviewing the state standards and listing the appropriate standard next to an instructional objective or goal using the coding system. The content standard is also known as the “Knowledge Standards” from the Show Me Standards. The content strand comes from the Grade Level Expectations.

Goal 1 is written 1.1 / The learner objectives are aligned with the Show-Me Standards. The learner objectives are essential to mastery of the standards. The objectives are measurable and an assessment is provided to determine progress towards mastery.
The descriptive verb will be underlined to note Depth of Knowledge required for the objective, to aid with assessing at that same level.
High School A+ objectives are marked with an asterisk. / List all student activities that will lead to mastery of the measurable objective.
Explain what students will do, with what tools, for what purpose. Remember to not repeat the learner objective but to explain the lesson design component in this section. / Describe a specific assessment for each measurable objective or sub-objective.
Assessments should include guidelines or criteria for evaluation.
Performance assessments should include scoring guides or specific scoring criteria. Include the location in the text or a copy of the assessment in the curriculum guide
A mastery level must be noted for each assessment. A+ courses must have a 70% mastery level listed for the tracked objectives (A+ year long classes must track 4 Learner Objectives, with semester classes tracking 2 Learner Objectives). K-8 may set a grade level % or on Performance or WP use Proficient as measured by a scoring guide.

List examples of teacher led instructional strategies that will enable the learner to accomplish their learning activities and lead to mastery of the learner objective. / RESOURCES:
Resources will include instructional materials, texts, supplemental materials, technology resources, web sites, audio visual materials, research, and community resources. List all resources need that relate to the learner activity and instructional methods to help aid in student mastery of the Learner Objective.
