We’ve made it through two weeks of school! We are excited that our students are back and ready to learn!

New Faces

We welcome Sara Sloan as a Special Education Teacher and Targeted Intervention Teacher. We also welcome Kathleen Gorelick, who is filling in for Mrs. Hamilton in the office.

Arrival/Dismissal

Please remember that the doors open at 8:10 am. There is no supervision provided before that time and students should not be waiting outside until the doors open. Also, please follow the traffic patterns in the parking areas for the safety of everyone. When picking up your child at the car rider door, please do not enter the stairwell. The EES staff will call your child and he/she will meet you at the top of the stairs. Thank you in advance for assisting us in keeping everyone safe.

Cafeteria Information

Parents may notify the cafeteria of any food-related allergies. You may also designate if your child is to receive lunch only or snacks on certain days. Please contact the staff at 240-236-1747.

Please remember that ALL students are eligible to have breakfast at school. Breakfast is served from 8:10 until 8:45 am. If a child is late, he/she should eat before arriving at school.

If your child comes home with a ¢stamp on his/her hand, it means that your child needs money added to his/her account. If no money is sent the next day, your child will be served a bologna sandwich and lemonade.
