We have been writing many types of poems over the past few weeks and will now create a Poetry Anthology to showcase some of your best! You will need to include a total of five different poems. Each poem must be your own authentic writing and correct spelling/grammar and proper punctuation must be used. You will be required to incorporate different types of figurative language and must adhere to the poem’s proper format and structure, depending on the type of poem.

Your Anthology must include the following items:

·  Your anthology will need a title page with a colorful illustration, title of the project, your first and last name, teacher, and class period.

·  Table of contents- list of poems included in the anthology in the order they appear.

·  You must add color and illustrations for each poem- they should be unique and related to your poem in some way.

·  All work and coloring must be neat and easily read.

·  Underline each example of figurative language used in your poetry.
