From Around The World
Since the first of the year, through this newsletter, we have been taking a journey around the globe to view the ministry operations of Harvestime International Network. In January we explained the international distribution of Harvestime materials through local translation and reproduction that bypasses customs issues and eliminates shipping costs. In February we showed photos of classes in session in various regions of the world. In March we shared how the Immediate Institute has been used to establish hundreds of Bible schools around the globe and shared a few photos of some of the graduates. In April we took you to the field to see photos of some of the workers you have trained reaping the spiritual harvest of their nations.
This month's edition of Network News features a sampling of requests and reports from around the world that are typical of those we receive and reply to each day. Thank you for your faithfulness! We are able to respond to these requests because you pray and give to empower Harvestime to continue to fulfill its divine destiny.
Yours for the harvest,
Argis and Patricia Hulsey
From The Solomon Islands: "I am from the Solomon Islands, an island nation in the South Pacific. I am a member of Living Word International Church. I have been surfing through your website and found the courses to be just what we need. I joined a group of intercessors in our local church, and since I have been part of this team I have wanted to know more about the role of an intercessor and how to function in this office. Then I saw that you offered this course. I am very keen in knowing more about intercessory prayer How can I access these courses and are the materials free?"
(Yes--we offer all of the materials free of charge. Thank you partners for making it possible to meet this request and many more like it!)
From Liberia: "We are very glad to let you know that we received the materials. We are very glad to learn the Word of God. All the pastors are very happy about the teaching. We have all kinds of false doctrines coming to us here, and we are happy to receive scriptural, balanced teaching from you."
From Cameroon: "I wonder how you can give courses of such great value away for free and make them available to everybody? That is indeed for me a great lesson in leadership by example and service. Thank you so much."
(We can do this because of your faithfulness in giving and praying for the ministry of Harvestime. You enable us to write, publish, and distribute materials free of charge.)
From India: "We are pioneering missionaries working among the unreached rural poor of western Maharashtra, India. God has enabled us to plant churches in many villages and towns and also to raise up native workers from this region. We hereby request you to kindly help us to set up a Bible institute here so that we can train our church members, cell group leaders, and full- time workers in this region."
From Africa: "Just to let you know that on an accelerated speed, in one year and one month the Africa Harvestime International Bible college has graduated its first students . The students have finished all of the courses you sent and testified about the knowledge of the Word they received. All of the graduates are pastors from different churches."
From Kenya: "I cannot think of a ministry in the Kingdom of God that is more effective in building up members of the Body of Christ. We are going to start a Bible school in Chesamesi, Kenya, and we will be sure they have computers for access to the Harvestime courses."
From The Philippines: "I am blessed to be handed one of your calling cards and to find out that your ministry includes ministry to the Body of Christ. If it is the will of God that we are included, we are very happy and grateful about it. Our church, The Amazing Grace Full Gospel Christian Fellowship, is a two-year-old church in a university belt of a rural area here in the Philippines. Most of our church attendees are students. I wish to inquire about your ministry."
From Nigeria: "The first batch of Bible school students have graduated this year, thirteen of them pastors and eleven evangelists. Once again I must thank the Harvestime family for providing us with study materials. I look forward prayerfully to such a time we shall be able to host you in Nigeria during a graduation ceremony. We are grateful to be your representatives training and sending ministers where you could not have reached."
"Some wish to live within the sound of a chapel bell. I want to run a rescue shop within a yard of Hell." - C.T. Studd
"The mark of a great church is not its seating capacity, but its sending capacity." - Mike Stachura
