Equipment & Materials / Studio Fee Extended Diploma in Art and Design Level 3

STUDIO FEES

You will be charged a studio fee of £90.00 per year of your course.

It is essential that you pay the studio fee on your enrolment day.

Cheques should be made payable to ‘PETROC’ with your name and course written on the back (our course name is: Extended Diploma in Art and Design).

ARTKIT

Before starting the course it would be great if you could gather up the following basic art stuff along with other things you like to use in your artwork, put it in an art box and bring it into the studio on your first day….

- A3 Sketchbook
- 1GB Memory Stick (at least)
- Pencils (2H-6B)
- Rubber
- Black Graphics Pen (0.5 or 0.7)
- Metal Ruler (safety if poss.) / - Scalpel
- Scissors
- Stapler with staples
- Masking Tape
- Glue Stick
- Needles and Threads / - Water Colour Set
- Set of Acrylic Paint tubes + Paint Palette
- Paint Brushes (No.4,6,8 round)
- Apron / or old shirt
- Toolbox / or other storage for your kit
- Padlock (for your locker)

> > Top Tip

Put your name on all of your art stuff… It seems like a waste of time and a bit silly but your stuff will find its way back to you if you do this. If at all possible we recommend having an art kit for the art studio and at home to save you lugging it back and forth. The art kit is personal and will grow with your creativity and interests.
Fill it with the stuff you love ….

Oh, and another thing….

Exhibition Visits & Trips Abroad

The college usually runs optional trips to local or overseas exhibitions and events. These will vary in cost depending on the location and its worth (if you can) putting some money aside when these become available. All trips and residential visits are recommended as an important (not to mention amazing) learning experience.
