Please remember there are restrictions regarding use of the travel grant. Request for the travel grant must be made prior to undertaking the trip. NO REQUEST WILL BE CONSIDERED ONCE THE TRIP HAS BEEN TAKEN.

The student listed above has requested travel grant for the indicated conference. In the space below please offer your recommendation. CRM has very limited funds. We plan to offer each PhD student two travel grants of $500 each during 8/28/2006-8/27/2007. A student may use one of the two grants to attend a conference to enhance his/her skills and knowledge about current research in the field of marketing. Preference would be given to topics which enhance the knowledge base on topics related to CRM’s research directions. The second grant may be used to present a reviewed/competitive paper at a conference. The paper must deal with some aspect of CRMs research and the student must be the author or one of the co-authors of the manuscript. Please offer your evaluation of the request. How will the support of this request benefit the applicant and CRM? Why should this request be approved?
