We have two weekly services:
9:00 am Traditional
10:30 am Contemporary
For Children:
Infants and Toddlers in our nursery downstairs
Kid’s Quest (preschool through 6th grade):
9:00—Children are in Fellowship Hall for the entire service to participate in Kid’s Quest.
10:30—Children begin in the service and then are dismissed to Fellowship Hall during Meet Greet time.
For Students:
Surge (middle school – 7th and 8th graders, Wednesdays 6:30-8:30 pm)
Highlight (high school – 9th through 12th graders), Sundays 6-8 pm)
Sunday mornings: High School Connection and Middle School Connection meets during the 9:00 am service in the Upper Room (resumes next week, January 10)
For Adults: (beginning January 10)
At 9:00 am: Raising a Modern-Day Knight, Commons Room (for men)
At 10:30 am: New Testament Books of the Bible, Commons Room
There will be NO Sunday School classes for youth or adults this morning.
Sweet Tuesdays Women’s Bible Study resumes on January 12.
The Gathering (Wednesday night meal and programming) resumes on January 13.
2016 giving envelopes are available in the church office. Giving envelopes are provided as a convenience for donors who are interested in using them. If you have used these regularly this past year then there should be a box for you. If there is no box for you and you'd like to use envelopes in the future please contact our Financial Secretary Hall Crowder ().
Spiritual Formation Opportunities in the New Year
Beginning Sunday, January 10, 2016:
- 9:00 am: New Men’s Study: Raising a Modern Day Knight
Join us for this six week study on a father's role in guiding his son to authentic manhood. Contact JT to register. The cost will be $30 (book and training manual) or $32 (ebook and training manual). We will meet in the Commons Room.
- 10:30 am: New Testament Books of the Biblein the Commons Room.
Beginning Wednesday, January 13, 2016:
- 6:15 pm
Parenting Group: “It Starts at Home” with video teacher Matt Chandler. In these six sessions, we will explore biblical and tangible ways that parents—couples, single parents, blended families and grandparents—can build a legacy of faith for their children. We will meet in the Commons Room.
- 7:00 pm
Men’s Bible Study, studying John 16, with Bob Bergquist and Daryl Erickson, in the green room.
“Understanding and Answering ISLAM” simulcast conference with Ravi Zacharias International Ministries, Friday, January 15 (7-9 pm) and Saturday, January 16 (9 am-3:30 pm) at Bethany. Do you know what it costs a Muslim to consider Christ? Islam is no longer distant! Cost $20 adults, $15 students (over 13), under 12 are free. Lunch is an additional $5. The Women's Monday Night Bible Study will begin a new study on January 25, 2016 at 6:30 in the Commons Room. We will be using Beth Moore's study: "James: Mercy Triumphs." Contact Kathy Sher, , if you would like to join us.
