Outreach action plan

Problem: The Title X Partnering Plan is currently insufficient. Girls Inc., UCLA’s current partner via MOU arrangement, has experienced some internal changes. Of note, there were three different program managers in the past year. However, the Girls Inc. Executive Director still supports our relationship and has been helpful in explaining how programming might be changing in light of a new HHS Teen Pregnancy Prevention grant. There have not been any opportunities to visit schools for outreach/education thus far in the 2010-2011 school year. As a result, we have not had any tracked visits from Girls Inc. clients in our clinic.

Assessment: UCLA will continue to work with Girl Inc. whenever possible, but needs to seek additional community partners.

Goal: Sign a formal MOU with another agency by June 30, 2011 (mid-point in contract year).
