Nominate your Jaguar Land Rover Business Champion for Arts & Business in the Midlands
Your opportunity to celebrate those from the commercial sector that support the arts
Our Business Champions initiative is an England-wide programme that celebrates the special relationship between the arts and supporters from the business sector, by applauding the work of exceptional individuals, from a commercial background, that support the arts either with time, money, or skills.
If you would like to nominate someone from the Midlands as your Business Champion then please read the guidelines, and complete the details (further) below.
If selected, we will celebrate both you and your 'Champion' at a celebratory lunchtime reception held in Waterhall, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, 22nd March 2013.
Guidelines
A Business Champion is someone who has shown support to your organisation in one or more of the following ways:
• given a monetary contribution
• volunteered specific advice or skills (practical or strategic)
• given their time and general support on a regular basis or on a specific project or campaign
• currently (or has been) a trustee on your arts board / or similar governance role
• their support could be immediate or have been given over an extended period of time
• they will have made a vital difference to your organisation
Please note, they should not have been paid for what they have provided.
Whatever their story, it should be one that inspires others from the commercial sector to realise they too can make a difference to their cultural landscape.
Please note that Arts & Business will be selecting 10 Business Champions overall based on a committee decision as to which are the finest partnerships, therefore not all nominations will be successful.
Deadline for nominations: 15th February 2013. Please note, previous events have proved popular, and we have a finite capacity, so please apply as soon as possible for the greatest chance of success.
