Future Residential Trips

It is good that staff have expressed a wish to enhance the experience of students by the provision of residential experiences. Governors have provisionally approved the following visits and the details are offered to parents to help with financial planning etc. Please see below the criteria that have been used to approve visits and the resultant calendar.

Criteria

1.  Support for development of Catholic nature of school/ethos.

2.  Ability to support the appropriate stage of formation of Year Group.

3.  Support for school’s identity as a sports college.

4.  Support for curriculum area delivery.

5.  Support for recruitment to VIth Form.

6.  Ability to contribute to a broad/balanced programme for students.

The criteria need to be applied in line with the principle that demands made on the finances of families are fair and reasonable. All prices are approximate and there can be no guarantee that all visits will take place. All trips are additional to the curriculum and largely occur out of term time. (see charging policy)
