Collegiate 4-H Meeting Minutes

Officers Present: Tyler Cotterman, Ashley Broady, Kala Nicholson, Amy Smith, Alicia Keller, Julia Wickert, Rebecca Getts, Jerry Weber, Aaron Birge, and Nick Deutsch.

Tyler Wilson led us in the American Pledge and Julia Wickert led us in the 4-H Pledge.

The treasurer s report was given by Julia Wickert; we now have a balance of $4,357.56.

The Ag Council Report was given by Rebecca Getts. Those interested in running becoming a part of council should speak with Rebecca Getts or Alicia Keller and complete a new member position by November 10, 2009. College of Ag T-shirts will be for sale on November 12 and 13 in the lobby of Lilly. T-shirts cost $12 each.

Anyone interested in running for Service Director or Ag Council Representative/Historian should complete an intent to run form and bring to the next meeting (November 12,2009). If you are interested in learning more about either of these positions, contact Kala Nicholson (Ag Council Representative/Historian) or Jerry Weber (Service Director).

6 members attended the Regional Conference in South Dakota. More information and photographs will be presented at the next meeting.

Julia Wickert moved to order black polo’s, Alicia Keller second the motion. The polo’s will cost $18.32. Julia Wickert moved that the club will pay anything over $15 and Ashley second the motion. Fleece jackets will also be black, and will cost $26. Members interested in purchasing a polo or a fleece jacket should bring an order form and $15 to the next meeting. Cash or check written out to Purdue Collegiate 4-H will be accepted.

Due to the weather we will no longer be going to Exploration Acres Corn Maze. Nick will store the food that was purchased until a later date.

There will be an Officer Training training event on November 30, 2009. Free Pizza will be provided!

The National Collegiate 4-H Conference will be held from February 18-21, 2010 in Washington D.C.

Ashley Broady will be going to Lebanon on November 7, 2009 for Operation Military Kids training. If any members are interested in attending, contact Ashley.

Alicia Keller moved to close the meeting, and Julia Wickert second the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 7:35pm.
