Application Procedure:

  • G7 Master applicant MUST be Idealliance China Corporate Membership.
  • Please submit the completed application form together with the documents (mentioned below) and application fee to Advanced Printing Technology Centre (APTEC): Room 112, 1/F, IVE (Morrison Hill), 6 Oi Kwan Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.

  • G7 Master 5+ Re-qualification Form
  • Idealliance China Corporate Membership Application Form
  • G7 Master 5+ Equipment Audit Form - In particular note that the inks and paper being used and as well as the devices (proofing systems and/or presses) and the measurement devices that are required for G7.
  • Press sheets (for example, if the G7 Master has obtained for consecutive 5 years):

²  Re-qualification in Year 6, Year 8,…, the G7 Master 5+ can choose to submit 6 pieces official test form or 6 real job press forms with control strip.

²  Re-qualification in Year 7, Year 9, …, the G7 Master 5+ has to follow the current policy by submitting 6 official press forms.

  • Measured data with settings of M0 or M1 measurement mode in CGATS format.
  • G7 Expert Report (if submit official press form) OR G7 Master 5+ Report or the report generated by other software (if submit real job press form)
  • G7 Master 5+ Affidavit Form in ORIGINAL

G7 Master 5+ Re-qualification Fee:

  • Each qualification is based on a physical Printing/Proofing Facility Location. If a printing company has facilities physically located at multiple street addresses and postal codes, a unique qualification is required for each physical location.
  • G7 Master Re-qualification fee: HK$1,560
  • Idealliance China Corporate Membership fee: HK$3,500
  • Additional verification fee: HK$1,560 (if applicable)
  • Application fee for additional compliance level at the same applicant’s address:

·  G7 Grayscale or G7 Targeted: HK$780

·  G7 Colorspace: HK$1,170 (only apply for submitting official press form)
