Business Case for ThoRoc 10-60 Rapid Mortar, Refractory

This Bid is for the one-time purchase of ThoRoc 10-60 Rapid Mortar.

This fast set concrete material is used statewide by the Michigan Department of Transportation direct forces in compliance with MDOT special provision for concrete bridge repair.

ThoRoc 10-60 Rapid Mortar will enable bridge crews to repair damaged bridge decks with minimal impact to traffic. Deck patching ensures safe travel for the motoring public and protects critical elements of structures.

Bid Specification for ThoRoc 10-60 Rapid Mortar, Refractory

This is a one-component shrinkage-compensated rapid-setting cement-based mortar.

Shipments shall be in 50 lbs. bags and will be palletized with a maximum weight of 3000 lbs. per pallet.

Each pallet shall be wrapped in moisture proof plastic (shrink wrapped).

ThoRoc 10-60 will be paid as a lump sum for each pallet and will include the costs associated with use of shrink wrap, pallets and delivery.

The product name is to appear on the individual bags.

The Michigan code number shall be stamped on all pallets.

FOB delivered. A 48 hour delivery notification is required before delivery. Delivery accepted between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday.
