AGING AND THE LAW
Fall 2016
Professor Ford
978-681-0066
Elder law draws from many areas of the law, but with a focus on the application of those areas of law to the elderly. We will examine several of those areas, but no single course can even touch upon, much less do justice to, all areas encompassed within the field of elder law. We will begin with a look at the field generally, and then examine ethical issues in the elder client context. From there, we shall proceed as student interest, and professor guidance, shall direct. Therefore, please read the first assignment below for discussion in the first class, and be prepared also to discuss your interest in the field of elder law and what areas you would like to pursue.
