LGA Members Expenses

LGA Members’ expenses – April 2016 to March 2017

The LGA is a national membership body. The members who sit on our various governance structures, or who lead our improvement work with councils, come from across England and Wales and ensure that we understand and are able to represent fully the differing views and priorities of all of our membership. Some members – in particular the LGA’s chairman and vice chairmen – are required to spend a significant amount of time attending meetings in Westminster, as well as visiting councils and leading events across the country.

The published tables include expenses incurred for attendance at meetings and events around the UK, in line with the LGA’s published Scheme of Members’ Allowances.
