For situations described in (a), (b) and (e), production of a recent extract from the judicial record is required or, failing that, a recent equivalent document issued by a judicial or administrative authority in the country of origin or provenance showing that those requirements are satisfied. I–SPECIALCONDITIONS
ARTICLEI.1–SUBJECTMATTER
I.1.1The contractor shall provide capacity building activities to the national water authorities concerning integration of Water Demand Management (WDM) approach into water resources planning process in Egypt in addition to the existing Water Supply Management (WSM) approach. This includes support in the improvement of knowledge and understanding of the economic nature and technics of water demands, as well as sectoral assessment of WDM and preparation of technical reports and trainings according to a methodology to be agreed with the beneficiaries.
I.1.2The contractor shall execute the tasks assigned to it and deliver the outputs in accordance with the tender specifications annexed to the contract (Annex 1).
ARTICLEI.2–ENTRYINTOFORCEANDDURATION
I.2.1Thecontractshallenterintoforceonthedateonwhichitissignedbythelast party.
I.2.2Undernocircumstancesmayperformancecommencebeforethedateonwhichthe contract enters into force.
I.2.3Thedurationoftheexecutionofthetasksshallnotexceed12months. Unless otherwisespecified,allperiodsspecifiedinthecontractarecalculated in calendar days.Executionof thetasksshallstartfromthedateof entryintoforceof the contract.
