LAST MONTH’S CAMPOUT ATFISHEATING CREEK CAMPGROUIND
Six rigs, 6 dogs and 2 cats all enjoyed themselves at this rustic park. Along with us, the park was very crowded with familiesin motorhomes and Boy Scouts in tents. Wagonmaster Elaine Fritz cooked a delicious turkey for us in her New wave oven. Thank you, Elaine! The attendees brought the “fixings” for the Thanksgiving meal; another fantastic Seahorses’ dinner was enjoyed by all. Ryan Cicha (friend of Megan Hopper) brought wood, and we all basked in a delightful bonfire. This was Firestarter Carl Koch’s specialty. We remember him with fondness; he passed away on August 15. Sadly, this was Bill & Thelma (and Cheryl Grove) LeBright last campout with us until they get another rig. We all hope this is soon as they have been faithful members for many years. Editor Sissel Carr created Certificates of Appreciation for them for all the work they have done for the Chapter. They will all be missed, and hopefully return to us soon.

Dear Members, we have a serious membership problem facing us for 2015. We have lost seven members this past year; not of our doing, but illnesses, death of spouse, no longer living in the area, sold rig, etc. Some of our members have remained on the roll, but are unable to be with us for our campouts for various reasons. Please be diligent in seeking new members for our Chapter. We are fortunate to have a full core of Officers, but we need members. Please remember new, faithful members in your prayers for the Seahorses Chapter. Thank you!

A CHRISTMAS MEDITATION
Give us through the coming year
QUIETNESS of MIND,
Teach us to be PATIENT
And always to be KIND,
Give us REASSURANCE
When everything goes wrong
So our FAITH remains unfaltering
And our HOPE and COURAGE strong –
And show us that in QUIETNESS
We can feel Your presence near
Filling us with JOY and PEACE
Throughout the coming year.
