Important: This is a non-self-propelled barge. The Successful Bidder will need to provide another boat or tugboat in order to remove it.

Additionally, the fuel used to operate the onboard diesel generator sets to provide electrical power to external sources has been removed.

Please Note: Successful Bidder cannot be from Sudan, North Korea, Iran, Syria, or Cuba or plan on using the vessel in these countries. Successful bidder selection will include determination based on regulation and limits as specified in the 15 C.F.R. and the U.S. Commerce Control List. Additionally, if the Successful Bidder is from Russia, they may not use this item for oil exploration.

The Successful Bidder will need to sign the Statement of Intent located under Additional Documents before payment can be processed. If the Statement of Intent is not properly completed, the sale will be voided and the Bidder will lose all right and titled to the vessel.

The Successful Bidder will be responsible for notifyingLocal Customs and filing the correct paperwork. At that time, Customs may access the barge to determine its value, which would then determine any amount of taxes and fees that would have to be paid by the Successful Bidder. This process is handled between the Successful Bidder, theirBroker and the Local Customs Office.

The Barge being output from Gaeta Base will be subject to European duty payable in Gaeta or at destination if in Europe in measuring of 2.7% of value. Also the Vat Tax must be paid at destination country according law (in Italy 22% of value). In additiona expenses required of customs bill by an authorized agent.

It is recommended that the prospective buyer inspect the hull and make their own determination of suitability of this vessel for usage or tow, The Successful Bidder will be responsible for all arrangements, labor, and expenses for their removal.

Inspection and removal will be by appointment only, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Appointments must be made at least one work days in advance.

Successful Bidders Are Cautioned That They Will Be Solely Responsible For Removal Of Any And All Property Awarded To Them From The Exact Place Where The Property Is Located.

The Successful Bidder Is Responsible For The Proper Disposal Of Oily Water That May Have Accumulated In The Vessel. No Work Other Than The Disposal Of Oily Water May Be Accomplished Prior To Removal Without The Express Written Consent Of The Contracting Officer Of Record.

The Use, Disposition, Export And Re-export Of Any Property Is Subject To All Applicable U.S. Laws And Regulations, Including The Atomic Energy Act Of 1954, As Amended; The Arms Export Control Act (22 USC 2752 et seq.; The Export Administration Act Of 1979 (50 U.S.C. 2401); Doe Regulations (10 C.F.R.
