Sanction:Held under the sanction of USA Swimming #2016-087 In granting this sanction it is understood and agreed that USA Swimming shall be free from any liabilities or claims or damages arising by reason of injuries to anyone during the conduct of the event.
Facility:10 lane 50 meter competition pool; depending on number of participants, the meet will be swum in 8 lanes; leaving up to 1 lane for a buffer and 1 lane for warm up/ warm down. Pool altitude is 6035 ft. The competition course has not been certified in accordance with USA Swimming regulation 104.2 2C(4). Pool depth at each end is 6ft, 7 inches.
Team Area:OTC is providing an area for athletes, parents and spectators to observe the competition at the gym in close proximity of the pool. There will be audio and video of the competition.
Timing:Colorado Timing System with touch pads, buttons, and an electronic scoreboard, and back up watches will be used.

Session II - Saturday: Warm Up: 8:00 – 8:50 am Meet Start: 9:00 am
Session II - Saturday: Warm Up: 11:30 – 12:20 pm Meet start: 12:30 pm
Session III - Sunday:Warm Up: 8:00 – 8:50 am Meet start: 9:00 am
Session IV - Sunday:Warm Up: 11:30 – 12:20 pm Meet start: 12:30 pm
The meet host reserves the right to make necessary changes to Saturday and Sunday session schedules if the timeline requires. Any changes to the schedule will be sent out via email no later than Tuesday, July 5th.
Rules:1) 2016 USA Swimming Rules & Regulations will govern the meet.
2) All sessions are Timed Finals
3) This meet will be pre-seeded, with the exception of 400/800/1500 freestyles and 400 IM which will be seeded by positive check-in which will be announced the day of the meet. All Friday PM events will be swum fastest to slowest and alternating gender and combined when possible. Positive check-in for the 11&O 400 IM (#21 & 22) and 13&O 400 Free (#49 & #50) events will close at 5:30PM the day prior to the event.
4) CSI warm up procedures will be observed. Any swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USA Swimming member-coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. When unaccompanied by a member-coach, it is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement. The meet director or meet referee may assist swimmers in finding a certified coach for warm ups if one is needed.
5) At the Meet Referee’s discretion, individual events may be combined by age, sex and/or distance.
6) The use of audio or visual recording devices, including cell phones, is not permitted in the changing area, behind starting blocks, restrooms or locker rooms.
7) Except where venue facilities require otherwise, changing into or out of swimsuits other than in locker rooms or other designated areas is not appropriate and is prohibited. On-deck changing is not allowed.
8) Events #1 - #6 will require all swimmers to provide their own timers (2) and counter (1).
9) Swimmers must be entered in the meet in order to participate in warm up or use warm up/warm down lane.
10) No on deck photography from behind the starting platforms

EligibilityOpen to Zone 5 swimmers with a 2016 USA Swimming membership. Any swimmer that appears on the Colorado Swimming (CSI) exceptions report without registration must come to the meet prepared to show proof of current membership, or they will be deck registered before they can enter the water. The deck registration fee will include a surcharge plus the current registration fee.”
Qual. Times: Any swimmer who has achieved one (1) 2015 National B time standard may enter the maximum number of events.
Entries:Swimmers may enter up to 5 individual events per day. We do reserve the right to turn away swimmers if our entry limit is reached. Teams will be notified by the Entry Chair if any or all of their desired entries cannot be accommodated. All swimmers will be required to fill out a 2016 OTC Athlete waiver and these must be sent to the entry chair by the entry deadline.
Entry Fees:$4.50 per individual event and $4.50 per relay event. $.75 of the individual swim goes to the CSI support fund. Facility surcharge fee per athlete is $10.00. Please make all checks payable to: Falfins.

Programs:Heat sheets will be for sale for $2.00 per session
Safety Issues:All coaches, parents and swimmers should act in a manner to reduce the risk of any accidents.
- Coaches are to monitor their swimmers during warm up/meet and are responsible for their safety.
- No forward dives or backstroke starts into the water during warm up unless there is one-way swimming & starts with coach supervision.
- All athletes, visiting coaches and officials are reminded that the swimming venue may have areas where additional care needs to be observed. This includes and is not limited to slippery deck, bleachers and hallways. Proper footwear and caution “may” help reduce these risks.
- No running or horseplay is allowed and it is the responsibility of the swimmer, coach, officials and parents to monitor these activities.
- Care should be given not to park in either handicapped or fire lanes as vehicles may be towed at the owner’s expense.
