9th Graders
OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES TO REMEMBER:
- Students must PRINT their name and their 2nd & 3rd teacher’s name on the book. We need BOTH names whether on Killough campus or not.
- Students CANNOT have:
- scratch paper
- mechanical pencils
- highlighters
- food or drink including water
- 9th will be using TI-83 calculators. 10th will be using Nspires There is a special sheet for the use of this calculator. Be sure to use this sheet accordingly.
- Cell Phone
- Phones must be powered off and secured. It can be in a backpack. If it makes a noise or you are seen using it, you scores can be cancelled and the device will be confiscated.
- Follow teacher instructions regarding where to place your back packs and personal items
- You cannot skip ahead or go back to other parts of the test
- The test is timed

- Take advantage of the free online practice with Khan Academy (collegeboard.org/psatpractice)
- It is okay to guess
- Do not spend a excessive amount of time on a question
- Use your calculator when you are allowed
- Read carefully to make sure you are answering what you are being asked
- Make sure you bubble clearly and carefully
- Scoring
- You get points for correct answers
- No points deducted for a incorrect answer
- Blanks have no impact on your score
- Block Lunch - We WILL have BL on this day but we will be starting 15 minutes late
- NON-TESTERS
- ALL non-testing students will follow their regular schedule BUT they must check the posters to see if their class has been moved. Check the posters. These will be hanging outside of the library.
