F.1.a.CEdmontonArtGallery “Keeping The Doors Open” 2005 Community Investment Grant

That Community Services Committee recommend to City Council:

That payment of the second instalment of the EdmontonArtGallery’s 2005 Community Investment Grant in the amount of $92,320 be approved.

F.1.b.CMuttart Conservatory Capital Project 05-21-5470 Budget Adjustment 

That Community Services Committee recommend to City Council:

  1. That Project 05-21-5470 Muttart Conservatory – New Program/Area be increased by $550,000 to $1,570,000.
  2. That the source of funds for the additional $550,000 be $300,000 from the Muttart Foundation and $250,000 from the City of Edmonton – Enterprise Reserve.
  3. That the total project for 2005 and 2006 in the amount of $1,570,000 be approved.

That Community Services Committee recommend to City Council:

That the 2005 Arts Operating Community Investment Grant recommendations, as outlined in Attachment 1 of the May 13, 2005, Edmonton Arts Council report 2005EAC004, be approved.

That Community Services Committee recommend to City Council:

That the 2005 Arts Travel Community Investment Program Grant recommendations, as outlined in Attachment 1 of the May 13, 2005, Edmonton Arts Council report 2005EAC005, be approved.

F.4.d.The Role of SLIM and the Integration of Mapping 

  1. That the purchase of up to $500,000 of HP Storage Area Network (SAN) equipment, to address a situation seriously affecting operations, be approved.
  2. That the tendering for the ongoing purchase of HP SAN equipment over a six-year period for a total value of up to $6,000,000 be approved.

  1. That the Edmonton Arts Council provide an update to the September 19, 2005, Community Services Committee on the status of the unallocated 2005 Major Parade Community Investment Program Grant funds.
