Great News! OVE.com has introduced a new bulk upload solution that your aggregator has chosen to take advantage of. They will now send your inventory to OVE.com via our new XML (Extensible Markup Language) process.

Added benefits of bulk loading for your dealership(s)

· Listings will now post directly to OVE.com’s Inventory Manager. You will no longer have to import listings from Manheim’s Ad Manager into your Parking Lot.

· Listings received from aggregators will be processed 24/7.

· Listings can now be displayed to buyers with a Condition Report so they are more attractive to buyers.

· Listings can have up to 20 vehicle photos.

· Listings can be previewed before they are available for sale.

· Listings can be deactivated

Listings sent via the XML option will post to your Inventory Manager in one of two statuses, Live or Never Listed.

Note: Listings must contain some minimum fields to post to either status.

Never Listed – Listings can be sent without all of the required information for being ‘live’ on the site (ie pricing, start/end dates). In this case, the OVE.com user will find listings in Inventory Manager with a status of Never Listed, where they can be edited and activated for sale.

The minimum fields for getting inventory into Inventory Manager as Never Listed are:

· Seller ID or 5 Million #

· VIN

· Year

· Mileage

· Physical Location Indicator

· Facilitated Auction Code

Live – Listings with all the required information for being ‘live’ on the site will be found in Inventory Manager with a status of Live.

The minimum fields for importing an active listing into OVE.com are:

· Seller ID or 5 Million #

· Buyer Group (if affiliated)

· VIN

· Year

· Mileage

· Physical Location Indicator

· Physical Location Code

· Facilitated Auction Code

· Listing type (bid, buy, both)

· Start Date/Time

· End Date/Time

· Starting Bid Price (if bid, both)

· Floor Price (if bid, both)

· Bid Increment (if bid, both)

· Buy Now Price (if buy, both)

· Title State

· Title Status


Activate vehicles in ‘Never Listed’ status

1. Log on to OVE using existing username/password

2. Go to Inventory Manager via the Sell tab

3. Select desired account if not defaulted

4. Filter Status by Never Listed

5. Click Filter

6. Click Edit Listing under the Status column of returned listings
