A RESOLUTION adjourning the House of Representatives in loving memory and honor of Charline Keith Dowling Williams.
With deepest respect and admiration, we pay homage and tribute to Charline Keith Dowling Williams, and we pause in silent reverence for her soul.
WHEREAS, Charline Keith Dowling Williams was born on January 9, 1913, a native of Upton, Hardin County, Kentucky, and longtime resident of Munfordville, Hart County, Kentucky, and she traversed these earthly bounds on December 21, 2002; and
WHEREAS, Charline Keith Dowling Williams was the loving daughter of the late Charles B. and Stella Keith Dowling; she was the devoted wife of the late Glenn Davis Williams; she was the loving mother of two daughters, Sylvia Watson Jaegers of Louisville and Janice Williams McCombs of Munfordville, and a son, Charles Dowling Williams of Munfordville; and she was the proud grandmother of 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, Charline Keith Dowling Williams was an esteemed member of the Hardin and Hart County communities where she had been a member of Woodsonville Union Church from 1925 to 1940, and Munfordville Baptist Church since 1940, and she was a Sunday School teacher and organist for sixty years; she was a 1934 graduate of Duke University, and a member of the Munfordville Women's Club; and
WHEREAS, the passing of Charline Keith Dowling Williams has left a void that cannot be filled, and she is mourned across the length and breadth of the Commonwealth;
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

Section 1. The House of Representatives does hereby express its profound sense of sorrow upon the passing of Charline Keith Dowling Williams, and extends to her family and friends its most heartfelt sympathy.
Section 2. When the House of Representatives adjourns this day, it does so in loving memory and honor of Charline Keith Dowling Williams.
Section 3. The Clerk of the House of Representatives is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to the Honorable Charles Dowling Williams, Attorney-at-Law, P. O. Box 157, Munfordville, Kentucky 40765.
