Telex release fee calculation

Overview

Telex release fee should be calculated automatically in the booking module. Calculation should be enabled based on the agent location & there should be a config setup to do the same

Telex release fee can be entered in the fixed charges master. If the confitg setup is made to calculate the telex fee, then the system should take the telex release fee from the fixed charges master & then should calculate in to booking automatically. Since there can be specific telex release fee for some specific customer, system should first check is there any particular telex fee updated against that particular customer, if not normal telex fee will be applied

Process

1.  Config by location

If the telex fee should be calculated automatically then the config will be done with “AUTO_CALCULATE_TELEX” = “Y”

2.  Telex fee will be updated in the fixed charges master

If any specific telex release fee is available for a specific customer, then update the customer code, else leave the customer field blank

3.  Booking (Fetch rate)

System will fetch the telex release fee automatically when the user click the “Fetch Rate” button

4.  BL surrender validation

If the BL is not surrendered, but the telex release fee available in the manifest, then the system will not allow to proceed with the manifest confirmation

5.  Surrender BL

Once the BL is surrendered then the user can proceed with the manifest confirmation/manifest transfer

If the BL does not have the telex release fee, then system should automatically generate the telex release fee in to manifest

But if the manifest is already transferred to POD, then system should not generate the telex release fee & the same should be entered by using MA module

Also if the invoice is already made, then there should be a message to the user “Invoice already made, make sure to raise an additional invoice to collect the telex fee”
