A few minutes spent flipping through the pages of Cleanza Lanier’s scrapbook is all it takes to know she’s always been an over achiever. She entered college during her senior year in high school as an accelerated student completing a 4-year college program in two and a half years. During her high school and college years she received countless scholarship awards for outstanding academic achievements. She attended college on a full academic scholarship. A native of Huntsville, Alabama, she received her BS Degree in General Business and her MBA Degree in Business Management, with honors, from Alabama A&M University and the University of Hartford respectively.
Cleanza worked in the insurance industry for 10 years and consistently received fast track promotions for outstanding achievements made during her professional corporate career. After breaking the corporate glass ceiling, Cleanza decided to pursue a more challenging career in real estate. She is currently self-employed as Realtor® affiliated with Keller Williams® Tampa Properties where she also holds the distinction of being a Realtor® Owner/Investor.
Highly respected in the real estate industry, Cleanza’s real estate career has been nothing short of phenomenal! She consistently receives Top Producer Awards and is currently ranked among top real estate professionals nationwide. In 1996 Cleanza became the first African-American Realtor to be voted The Most Outstanding General Real Estate Agent of the Year in Hillsborough County. This prestigious award represents professionalism, extraordinary new home sales volume and great success in working with Tampa Bay area new home builders.
Cleanza has been interviewed by Channel 10 and Channel 13 News for her expertise and professionalism in rendering real estate opinions and she has been featured in numerous magazine and newspaper articles for her real estate accomplishments and exceptional business savvy. Her client data base is quite impressive as she has worked with numerous professional athletes, celebrities, and business professionals.
Her unselfish nature and genuine desire to help people is exemplified through her active community involvement. She is often associated with projects which represent giving something back to the community. She is a member of the Tampa Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., where she is Chief Executive Officer of its local nonprofit organization, Delta Enriches Lives Through Training and Awareness, Incorporated (DELTA, Inc.). She is a former board member of The Centre For Women, a women’s shelter, and she was a charter member of the Westchase Realtor Advisory Board; She is a member of both the National and Greater Tampa Association of Realtors, and she was recently asked to join the Real Estate Professional Advisory Council (REPAC) for Lindell Properties, a group of esteemed professionals highly regarded in the industry by developers and builder partners at Keystone Shores and Wilderness Lake Preserve.
