EUROMILLIONS SYNDICATE AGREEMENT
Syndicate Agreement – [Date]
1)The Syndicate Manager is [Name][Contact Details]
2)Syndicate Members agree to contribute [£2 OR £4]per week for entry into each [Tuesday / Friday] EuroMillions draw.
3)Payment will be made at the beginning of the month and calculated on the number of draws in that calendar month, e.g. [£8 for 4 draws or £10 for 5 draws OR £16 for 8 draws or £20 for 10 draws]*
* where it is decided to participate in both Tuesday and Friday evening draws
4)Tickets will be purchased in advance of each draw by the Syndicate Manager.
5)In the event that a Member has not paid their contribution prior to the purchase of the tickets, [their continued participation will be financed on the strict understanding that they will reimburse the paying party at the earliest opportunity] OR[any winnings from the draw(s) for which a syndicate member has not provided payment in advance will be distributed among the remaining, fully funded, syndicate members]
6)Each Syndicate Member will choose a line of numbers which will be played each week. Members understand and agree that any winnings associated with the line of numbers they have chosen is for the benefit of all Syndicate Members OR EuroMillions numbers will be chosen using the Lucky Dip facility
7)Tickets will be purchased by the Syndicate Manager [from an authorised lottery ticket retailer]OR[through the Syndicate Manager’s personal National Lottery account]
8)All tickets will be independently checked by another Syndicate Memberafter each draw
9)The Syndicate Manager acknowledges and they have a legal obligation to transfer all winnings resulting from Syndicate ticket purchases directly to [Syndicate Members OR the Syndicate Fund] as soon as practicable
10)Participation in the Syndicate is for a minimum [one/three/six/twelve] month period with entry / exit on [DATE]
11)At the end of each [one/three/six/twelve] month period, any winnings which have accumulated during the period will be divided between all Syndicate Members except where winnings reach or exceed £[amount]per Member during the period in which case the winnings will be paid out immediately
12)Any Member leaving the Syndicate due to a change of [circumstance/employer] will receive the appropriate share of any winnings which have accumulated at the point of their departure. Where payment has been made in advance for any draws which the exiting Member will not participate in, the appropriate ticket cost will be refunded from the Syndicate funds. Any winnings which subsequently result from the exiting Member’s ticket will be solely for the benefit of the remaining Syndicate Members. The exiting Member understands and agrees that they will have no future claim on Syndicate winnings after their departure from the Syndicate
13)Subject to the Agreement of [all/the majority] of Syndicate Members, accumulated funds may be used to purchase additional tickets for Special Draws on a case by case basis
14)Syndicate Members agree not to disclose details of any significant win to any third party where such disclosure may result in any Member(s) of the Syndicate, their family members or their Employer(s) being identified. Any decision to make a significant win public must be agreed in writing by all Syndicate members
15)Syndicate Members may request details of the Syndicate Fund balance at any time
16)Should membership of the Syndicate fall below [Number] Members, the Syndicate will be wound up and any winnings divided equally between the Members
