Welcome to worship with the Redeemer family on January 31! We are glad you are here. In ministry since 1955, Redeemer is a Christ-centered church “reaching out into our community to be the best for our community” by sharing God’s love. If you would like to know more about our church and school, we would like to meet you. Please take a moment to fill in the yellow visitor card located in the pew rack and hand it to an usher. If children become restless during worship, you are welcome to use the parent’s room, located in the narthex. Children’s quiet bags for use during church services are available by the rear sanctuary door. A family restroom is located in the parent’s room in the narthex. Gluten-free communion wafers are available; please tell a pastor if you require one.

The Lifestyle of Faithful Stewards: This week’s theme is “Living as Servants.” Just as Jesus came not to be served but to serve, we are to serve. Heartfelt service unto the Lord is an integral part of our stewardship. Paul exhorts us, “Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men” (Ephesians 6:7). Peter wrote, “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms” (1 Peter 4:10). We live the lifestyle of faithful stewards as we use opportunities to serve. As our hearts and minds are enlightened through the hearing of the Word and participation in the Sacraments, the Holy Spirit transforms us into servants who willingly serve the Lord by serving others.
First Communion Classes begin next Sunday, February 7. Please contact Kristen in the church office (286-0911) if you are interested in having your 5th or 6th grader participate.
