Inspection results summary:
CT shown around DMS plant and watched test of materials, some teething problems getting mix correct.
S & G stock yard tidy, bunds to rear of DMS need attention seeding, TLC of planting, some plants have fallen over. Weed control also required. Understand bund to rear of DMS Cemex responsibility as part of DMS operation.
Stockpiles of overburden still high in extraction area.
Actions to be taken before next site visit:
Complete shaping, seeding and weed control on bund to rear of DSM, both on inside and outside faces.
Reduce soft sand stockpile height
Reduce height of overburden stockpile ASAP or as and when restoration permits.
