A. State what the project is.
Give title/topic and statement.

C. Describe your research project as clearly as possible in “lay” terms.
A two to three page summary is all that is required. Provide enough detail for the committee members to have an overview of the project and of what you can reasonably expect to accomplish in this particular research period. If requesting a research assistant, include an explanation and/or timetable of the activities in which the assistant will participate or list of tasks the assistant will be expected to complete.
D. Outside Funding: Please describe your efforts and the results (funded, declined, pending) to obtain outside funding for this project. State how the budget in this application differs from those applied for or already funded.
E. Outline as specifically as possible your timetable for completion of the overall project and plans for disseminating the results of this research.
