END OF TERM THANK YOU
Wow what a term, what a start to the year!
When the new business was decided and as we planned the year ahead, Sam and I did discuss the possibility of not doing the Hobart Eisteddfod in our first year as IPA as we were aware of the mammoth task ahead. However, we realised this would not be what our dancers wanted or needed. In true IPA style, we forged ahead knowing the workload we had for both staff and dancers, however knew we had it in us.
To say we are proud of IPA overall is a complete understatement. Whilst it’s not been an easy task, we feel overwhelmingly supported… whenever we asked for leadership – you stepped up, when we asked for parent help – you were there, when we asked our staff to take on extra – you supported us unconditionally, when we asked for extra time with your dancer – you were flexible and helpful in getting our routines stage ready, when we asked for more from you as a dancer – you delivered!
Are we ready for our first major competition? We are never ready! Have we done our best? Absolutely!!!! We have done what no other has thought of, the near impossible of bringing group and routines together in less than 6 months… We should all be proud of what we have achieved in such small amount of time. We are looking forward to our very bright future knowing what we are capable of as team IPA.
To all of our dancers who have made new friends, to the parents that have walked in with open arms and to our ‘team’, we will be forever grateful for your trust, support and loyalty particularly through the early days.
Congratulations IPA on conquering mission impossible!

I would like to wish every IPA student the best of luck for this Eisteddfod an hope they all have a wonderful time and dance their very best.
And to remember – your best is essential. The results are incidental.

TERM 3 RESUMES – FRIDAY 28TH JULY
***IMPORTANT PLEASE READ***
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE HAVE EXTENDED OUR BREAK POST EISTEDDFOD AS WE FEEL WE ALL NEED TO STOP AND BREATHE AFTER A HECTIC START TO OUR YEAR. ENJOY THE EXTRA WEEK OFF AND NOTE YOUR INVOICES WILL REFLECT ONE WEEK LESS THIS TERM. EXTENSION TEAMS WILL REHEARSE AS NORMAL DUE TO SHOWCASE REGIONAL COMPETITION.
Term 3 invoices will be emailed over the next week. Your first direct debit for term 3 will be Friday the 28th July.
