Scoring Matrix

The following Scoring Matrix has been developed for small project support up to a maximum of £10,000 and is divided into four assessment criteria.

All applications must meet the 60% threshold or above to be eligible for funding.

manage and deliver the project/service (20 points).
·  Has the group given a clear explanation of what the project or service is? (0-5 pts)
·  Has the group shown they can manage and deliver the project/service? (0-5 pts)
·  The project/service has community safety and/or improving confidence in policing as its main focus. (0-10 pts) / QB1.1

2.  Identify the local need for your project/service and explain how this would improve your local community or area (20 points).
·  The local need for the project/service has been clearly identified and is evidence based. Need must be identified through national/local relevant research carried out within the last three years. (0-10 pts)
·  The applicant has shown how the project/service will improve the local community or area. (0-10 pts)

·  The project/service clearly links to the outcomes identified within the Strategic Community Plan. (0-15 pts)

·  The project/service is clearly linked to the Priorities/ Actions identified within the Local Community Plan and aligns with the PCSP Action Plan for 2017/18.
