RICHVIN 3018

Synergistic Hindered Amine Light Stabilizer (HALS) + UV Absorber System

Characterization RICHVIN 3018 is the light stabilizer of all applications calling for low volatility and
minimal migration. It provides excellent light stability for thick sections but can also be used for articles with a high surface area such as films and tapes.
Chemical Name Bis (2,2,6,6-tetramathyl-4-piperidyl) sebacate and 2-(2’-Hydroxy-5’-methylphenyl)
benzotriazole
CAS Number 52829-07-9 and 2440-22-4

Molecular weight 481g/mole and 225g/mole
Applications Recommended to be used in polypropylene, impact modified PP, EPDM, polystyrene, impact polystyrene, ABS, SAN, ASA and polyurethanes and polyamides, polyacetals.
Richvin 3018 is a low molecular weight HALS that provides excellent light stability for thick sections and films in the recommended substrates, particularly in PP thick sections. It has broad compatibility and can be easily dispersed.
Richvin 3018 is a good cost saving/performance synergistic blend.
Features/Benefits Combinations of RICHNOX, RICHFOS range or other range in many cases result in synergistic effect when processing.
Product Forms Appearance
Slightly yellowish crystalline powder, free flowing
Guidelines for use Thick sections UV stabilization of HDPE, LLDPE, LDPE and PP 0.15-0.5%
Film UV stabilization of LDPE and LLDPE 0.1-1.0 %
Tapes UV stabilization of HDPE and PP 0.2- 0.8 %
