I-83 to Exit 32 (Newberrytown exit). At the light at the bottom of the ramp, turn left onto Rt. 382 North to Lewisberry. Go approximately 3 miles to the flashing traffic light and turn left onto Rt. 177 South toward Rossville. Go approximately 3 miles and turn right onMt. Airy Rd. (across from Lake Pinchot Park Office). Continue approximately 1.7 miles to the site on the left.
US-15to Mechanicsburg and take the Bowmansdale exit, Rt. 114 towards Ski Roundtop,At the traffic light at the bottom of the hill, proceed straight on South Market Street. DO NOT FOLLOW 114. Continue straight about 2.3 miles on South Market St. which will become North York Rd. Turn left on East Mt. Airy Rd (at Mt. Pleasant Church of God) and go approximately 4.5 miles. You will pass Ski Roundtop on the right. Continue to a “T” intersection and turn right on Pinetown Rd. Take the first Left onto Mt. Airy Road. Site is immediately on the right.

DOGS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER
This trial is open to all dogs fifteen (15) months of age or older that are registered with the American Kennel Club or that have AKC Limited Registration, Purebred Alternative Listing/Indefinite Listing Privileges (PAL/ILP) or approved Foundation Stock Service (FSS) breedsor Canine Partners Program are eligible to participate.
Dogs with a Purebred Alternative Listing/Indefinite Listing Privileges (PAL/ILP)must be spayed or neutered in order to compete. Wherever the word“dog” is used it includes both sexes.
Dogs should be physically sound. Dogs that are blind or deaf shall not be eligible, and neither are bitches in season, aggressive dogs, or dogs suffering from any deformity, injury, or illness which may affect the dog’s physical or mental performance. No dog shall compete if it is taped or bandaged in any way or has anything attached to it for medical purposes. Refer to Chapter 2 of the Registration and Discipline Rules for the listing of register able breeds that may participate. Puppies under six months of age are strictly prohibited from the trial grounds.
Dogs under the age of 4 months old must not be on the show site grounds.
RUNNING ORDER
Dogs will be run Tall to Small on Thursday and Saturday; Small to Tall on Friday
Class Order for all 3 days: Ex JWW, T2B, EX Fast, EX Standard, Open Standard, Novice Standard, Open FAST, Novice FAST, Open JWW and Novice JWW (Please note that there are NO FAST classes on Saturday).
OBSTACLES AND RING CONDITIONS
Obstacles will meet the specifications for obstacles in the current edition of the AKC Regulations for Agility Trials. BVTC’s equipment is within all specs to AKC requirements. Weave poles are 24” spaced and contacts rubberized. Ring size will be 80 feet x 110 feet.

No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance. Illegible entries will not be processed and will be returned to the exhibitor. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry and the Club will add a $30.00 collection fee to the amount of each returned check.
Trial Secretary will not be held responsible for entries or changes not received at all or not received by any deadline. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to follow up on any correspondence with the Trial Secretary before any deadline date. If you do not get an email reply back from the Trial Secretary it most likely means he did not get it and you need to try to contact again using an appropriate means of communication such as phone, email or mail.
COURSE WALK-THROUGHS AND WARM-UP INFORMATION
Handlers will be able to walk each course prior to the start of each class. No dogs will be allowed on course during this time. Handlers with multiple dogs may request to walk with a different height other than the one they are entered in to help accommodate conflicts. It is the handler’s responsibility to coordinate conflicts by consulting the judge and ring gate steward. Handlers are not permitted to move themselves on the gate sheets.

GATE STEWARD: It is the responsibility of the handlers to coordinate with the judge to move in the running order due to conflicts. Exhibitors are not allowed to move themselves on the gate board. All moves need to be approved by the judge.
SHEET RUNNER: If you are the score sheet runner, you must be the only person to hand deliver the scribe sheets to the score table during the class you are assigned to work in that position. Any changes need to be approved through the Ring Captain.
ADDITIONAL EXHIBITOR INFORMATION
TARPS ARE TO BE USED UNDER ALL CRATES
- NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES PERMITTED ON SHOW GROUNDS.
- All dogs must be on leash when not competing in the ring or at the practice jump.
- Exhibitors, through submission of entry, acknowledge that they are familiar with AKC agility rules and regulations and that their dogs are familiar with and able to perform all obstacles safely.
- No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, an act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee.
- Telegraph, telephone, email, AKC online entries, fax, and unsigned entries will not be accepted.
- A refund of entries minus $20/dog/day for bitches in season or injured dogs will be
granted when a veterinarian’s letter is presented as proof to the Trial Secretary prior
to the start of the 1st trial day dog is entered. Must use official Vet Letter Head.
- All calls to the Trial Secretary must be before 9PM Mon–Fri or 9am-9pm Sat / Sun.
- Entries not on official AKC entry forms or photocopies of entry forms without agreement and rules printed on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form are NOT acceptable and will be returned!
- Postdated checks and returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Club will add a collection fee of $30.00 to the amount of each returned check.
- Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms. Entry fees do not have to be refunded in event of such error.
- Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs at the show site. Failure to do so will result in dismissal.
- Dogs may arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused.
- Judges will not wait for any dog holding up the judging schedule. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the agility ring when they are called to be judged.
- It is expressly understood that every dog and child at this trial are in the care, custody and control of its owner, handler, or parent during the entire time the dog or child is on the trial premises. Any exhibitor whose dog and/or child create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior, may, at the discretion of the Trial Committee, be asked to leave the show site. In such case, no refund of any fees will be made.
- Neither YCDTCnor BVTC are responsible for the loss of, damage to, or death of any dog exhibited, or the possessions of any participant, whether the result of accident or any other cause.
- Declination of Entries: The YCDTC may decline any entries for cause and may refuse to receive or may remove dogs on account of disease, viciousness or other causes and no one shall have any claim or recourse against the York County Dog Training Club or any official thereof.
- Trial Secretary is not responsible for incorrect information on any entry. Trial Secretary is not responsible for entries or emails not received on time or not received at all. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to follow up on unanswered communication with the secretary.
18. BVTC will have refunds at the trial but if not they will be mailed after the trial.
DAY TO DAY MOVE UPS
Per American Kennel Club Regulations for Agility Trials, dogs may be moved up to a higher class, at the request of the Owner, as a result of qualifying for an agility title.
Before the trial, move-ups may be made prior to the move-up deadline via email to r USPS in writing to Robert Kripaitis at 730 Mt. Airy Rd., Lewisberry, PA 17339 Verbal move ups will not be accepted.
Move ups are due in writing by Monday,3/11/13 at 6 pm the week of the trial.
Day-to-Day Move-upsare only allowed for dogs entered at the set of back-to-back agility trials for succeeding days of that set of back-to-back agility trials and must be submitted in writing at the trial within 15 minutes of the last run of the trial day for the following day(s) and cannot be conveyed via fax, email, phone or verbally. They must be given to the Trial Sec. in writing that day (forms will be available in the MOVE UP BOOK provided near Score Postings).
