How to Advertise on Australian Policy Online

Step 1. Navigate to http://advertise.apo.org.au

Step 2. First time users need to register for an account. Click the register to advertise button and then fill in the form that looks like this.

Step 3. After registering (or if you have registered earlier) you can then login into the site.

Step 4. After logging in you are presented with your individual dashboard page.

·  From your dashboard you can:

·  Purchase credits -> under package deals

·  Purchase and create Listings

·  Edit your account

·  View your orders and invoices

·  See a list of recently created content and edit and views stats on published content

There are 2 main ways of purchasing and creating listings.

1.  BUYING CREDITS

Under the package deals you will see a variety of deals for purchasing credits. Each credit is worth $90 or 1 listing of any type.

Currently the deals are:

·  3 listings for $240 ($80 each - save $30)

·  5 listings for $350 ($70 each - save $100)

·  10 listings for $500 ($50 each - save $400)

·  25 listings for $1000 ($40 each - save $1250)

·  50 listings for $1500 ($30 each - save $3000)

Credits can be used for any Listing type and don’t have an expiry date.

Content created is automatically purchased and approved for publication if you have credits available.

2.  PRODUCING AND PAY AS YOU GO

The second option is to select the listing type that you wish to produced – create the content and then have the item added to your CART. Then it’s a matter of going through the payment gateway (checkout) and finalising the transaction.

The two payment methods are:

1.  Credit Card

2.  Bank Transfer

CREDIT CARD payments use paypal as our payment gateway. NB – you do NOT need your own paypal account. Paying by Credit Card automatically approves your content for publication.

Bank Transfer method. Using this method of payment requires you to contact us to establish when payment will be made. Choosing this payment method will not approve your content for publication unless you communicate with Policy Online.

NB – Once your content is paid for and published (i.e. not in draft status), it will automatically be pushed to apo.org.au. This push/sync can take up to 3 hours. If you need it synced straight away send an email to
