2004 Inquiry group study. (Received the Faculty Research Grant and a Professional Development Grant from the State University of New York at Oneonta. These grants provided funding for a stipend for three undergraduate assistants and a small stipend for my time spent writing up results over the summer as well as reimbursement for expenses of presenting the findings at two conferences.)

2004 Consultant for the Capital Region Board of Cooperative Extension Services teacher-mentoring program based on the model of collaborative reflection developed during a study done with two colleagues. (See Woodcock, Lassonde, & Rutten, 2004.)
Consulted with a group of elementary teachers, their administrator, and several colleagues from SUNY Oneonta about the use of technology in elementary classrooms. The purpose was to consider the possible uses for a piece of technology being considered for adoption.
