For Full Install:
Run “Setup.exe”
It will install NetLog and a LABVIEW Run Time Library.
*** Then follow the directions below for “DATA Directory Setup” ***
For Upgrade:
Copy and replace the files from the “Update Only” Folder
on this CD to the previous NetLog install directory…
- Should be in either: (Depending on OS)
C:\Program Files\Netlog
Or C:\Program Files (x86)\Netlog
*** Then follow the directions below for “DATA Directory Setup” ***
DATA Directory Setup: (UPDATES or FULL INSTALL)
NOTE FOR ANY THAT ARE UPGRADING FROM Version BEFORE 13.00:
I CHANGED WHERE DATA FILES ARE STORED!!!You NEED TO MANUALLY MOVE / COPY FILES AND CREATE NEW DIRECTORY BEFORE RUNNING CODE!
Go to the "My Documents" folder (of the User you are Logged in as)
Create a New Folder Called "NetLogData"
Copy the files from "...Program Files\Netlog\Data" to the new folder
Or from "...Program Files (x86) \Netlog\Data" to the new folder
(Depending on OS)
Install now complete you may now run NetLog…

It uses UDP Broadcast Mode on Port 6556-6557 to Send to all on Local Network
Each NetLog has its own ID and they all Log all data.
All NetLog sessions require you start with the same ALLCALLList file and put the same Frequency List into them at Net Start so, the Display Filtering will
work properly.
Added Display Filtering:
Can Filter Display to only show certain Frequency's and or a TYPE of Call
Filtering can be changed any time during net to change what you see.
Items / Functions that have been added to Rev. 14.00:
1. Multi Frequency Support
- Frequencies are entered in to the Array on the "Net Control Information Screen"
- This list will get bigger afterenter the number of frequencies being used
- Note when entering data on the main screen during the net, while on the
“Frequency" field the List will pop up You may select the frequency by using the
mouse OR FOR THE FIRST "9" Frequencies!!!!
Select a frequency by just Typing the Number 1 - 9
Greater then "9" you MUST put a "0" first, then the 2 digits
- Once entered the "Auto Tab Function" moves the curser to the "Type" Field
2. Auto Selection of Call if only 1 left in "Lookup List"
- This function is good to use for events with long Tactical Call signs
- Activated on the "Net Control Information Screen"
Lower Right Next to the All Call File Selection
- When activated, on the NCS Screen a Disable Check Box will appear above the
Lookup List" on the main screen to allow adding of a new call to the NET!!
3. Automatic Tabbing between fields
- This makes the program jump between entry fields as information is entered
- Currently the sequence is:
- From the Frequency Field
- To the Type Field
- Then to the "WRITE TO LOG" Button/Field
- As soon as the current field has been filled with information by the user
the program will move the curser to the next entry field.
- A "Check Box" to deactivate "Auto Tabbing" has been added on
the right side of the Main screen
