Goodwill Southern California—Offers various business assistance programs.

  • Recruitment Solutions—Provides free recruitment assistance from needs assessments to application screening to interviewing candidates to hiring.
  • Rapid Response—Provides free help to companies that are facing layoffs. Services include but not limited to: Unemployment Insurance Benefits, Job Search and Placement Assistance, Training and Education Resources.
  • Other services include:low cost Document Imaging & Shredding (Generally $75 or less), E-Waste Services, Fulfillment

LA County Youth Jobs (LACYJ) Program— Los Angeles County runs “Earn & Learn model” for Los Angeles residents of aged 14-24 to prepare them for real life work experience. Through this program, participants work over 6 weeks (100 hours) receiving trainings and educations while earning minimum wages. This program is open to governments, non-profits and businesses. Organization involved in this program do not bear the responsibility of paying participants, entire costs are covered by the LACYJ Program.

OSHA's On-site Consultation Program— free and confidential safety and occupational health advice to small and medium-sized businesses in all states across the country, with priority given to high-hazard worksites. On-site Consultation services are separate from enforcement and do not result in penalties or citations. Consultants from state agencies or universities work with employers to identify workplace hazards, provide advice on compliance with OSHA standards, and assist in establishing injury and illness prevention programs.
