Overall Aim

›To lead on the marketing and promotion of Evolve Housing + Support, internally and externally, through the delivery of events, communication materials, web, social networking, press and media activities and supporting our Patrons and President

›To ensure Evolve Housing + Support has a clear, well articulated brand and a strong, positive profile

Key Responsibilities

Marketing

›To lead on the production of the annual report for publication

›To lead on the delivery of the staff conference incawards ceremony, Xmas party and any other internal events throughout the year.

›To support Customer Involvement Office with the delivery of our Customer Conference, and to support local staff to deliver a range of smaller stakeholder events at services throughout the year

›To work with the Director of Business Development and our design company to develop branded materials and website; ensure all content on the website is up to date and functionality meets stakeholder needs.

›To ensure staff understand and use our Brand Guidelines- developing and delivering training and improving resources where needed

›To drive our SEO and content strategy.

›To lead on utilising our Google Adword grant, working with colleagues to drive up interest in key parts of the business.

›To manage and develop the image library and bank of case studies

›To lead on the delivery of compelling and up-to-the-minute content for the website, Facebook page, Twitter feed and other social media

›To work with our preferred videographer to deliver videos on a range of issues for our customers and external stakeholders

Communications

›To foster good relationships with the media and other routes to the media (PR Teams within funders/partners) to maximise Evolve ’s chances of coverage. Manage any instances of negative publicity, and provide support and advice to the Corporate Management Team.

›To maximise Evolve’s exposure in blogs, websites and local media.

›To be the main point of contact regarding Communications & PR

›To manage and deliver our intranet project and improve our internal communications.

General

›To give support and direction to the Fundraising and Communications Assistant on the communications aspects of the role

›Ensure all financial procedures are followed regarding ordering any supplies/ma.

›To work with the Fundraising Manager to ensure there is no conflict between this and the Fundraising element of the role

›To act in accordance with the aims of Evolve Housing + Support and promote and implement Evolve ’s Equal Opportunities Policy and other polices adopted by the Board

›To carry out any other duties as directed by the Director of New Business, Chief Executive, other Directors or Board Members.

Experience & qualifications / ›Experience of delivery of marketing material for a charity, local government or similar organisation (essential)
›Experience of working on social media campaigns (essential)
›Experience of developing effective relationships with the media (desirable)
›Experience of delivering large scale (?) events with 100 attendees upwards (desirable)
›Qualifications which demonstrate a sound proficiency in English and Maths (minimum GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent)
Knowledge / ›A relevant degree or other qualification would be an advantage
Skills / ›Excellent and compelling written and spoken English; a confident communicator
›Ability to manage groups of staff from around the organisation to deliver projects, such as conferences or the annual report (desirable)
›Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues at all levels of the organisation
›Proficient use of IT in Word, Excel and database applications; desk top publishing etc would be an advantage
