You will be creating a personal web page using HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap that showcases you and/or something you are passionate about (your capabilities, interests, character, hobbies, etc.). For this part of the project, you will be modifying an existing Bootstrap template file using a text editor. Your pages should be creative and distinct from other classmates any examples given. They must also meet the requirements to validate as proper HTML5 and CSS3.
Requirements:
1. Create a single web page using HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap that represents you (your capabilities, interests, character, hobbies, etc.). You may create additional pages, but this is not required.
2. To begin your page, you should download a free Bootstrap template. There are many available online. The template will include an HTML file (or more than one) as well as CSS, JavaScript, image, and font files. If you choose to create multiple pages, you may use multiple templates. Use this website for free Bootstrap templates:
3. Correctly modify or add the following HTML elements:
a. <title> (for adding a title to your web page)
b. <link> (to add a favicon)
c. <link> (for adding a web font)
d. <img> (for adding images)
e. <a> (for adding hyperlinks)
4. Modify the design and content of the template. The content of this page should be interesting and significant. There should be at least one (but preferably more) images that you have selected. You mustmodify at least 10 CSS3 rules (i.e., at least 10 different CSS declarations) and at least one of these rules must change the font.
5. Add or modify at least 1 Bootstrap component (
6. Embed content from at least 1 other website (e.g., YouTube, Twitter, Google Maps, Soundcloud, etc.).
7. Your webpage MUST validate as HTML5 using this validator: There must be no ERRORS when you run this page through the validator. Warnings are okay.
8. Your web page should be creative and should not look exactly like the downloaded theme. Part of the evaluation for this part of the project will be based on the aesthetics and creativity of the page.
9. Upload this file to a web server (e.g., the webpages.csus.edu webserver).
